This Prison Apparently Lets Their Inmates Smoke Pot And Drink Alcohol. Usually when people think about prison they typically are faced with the idea of no access to the outside world. Whether that means no cell phones, internet, alcohol/drugs, whatever would be unbearable for them not to have. Well in this Montreal prison it seems like life isn’t so bad, or at least that’s how it seems from one inmates Facebook posts…yeah I said Facebook posts.

 
Michael Simoneau-Meunier uploaded photos to Facebook that clearly show him drinking XO cognac and smoking a blunt in the Montreal prison that he is incarcerated in. The post read, “XO and blunt living da jail life.” These pictures have cause quite a stir this week and many questions are being asked as too how these inmates are getting access to such things.

 
Inmates are barred from having alcohol and drugs at Bordeaux prison, or at least that’s what they say. This apparently wasn’t the first instance of such a thing happening in the prison, so people fear that the problem may be much larger than they think. Everything from people posting videos of beating people in prison to cooking crack cocaine in their cells. It appears as though this jail is getting out of control and nothing is being done to enforce the rules. This has been an apparent problem for over 50 years one news anchor was saying, which is alarming considering the prison is only 100 years old.
