11 Year Old Blasts Monsanto – We Need More Kids Like This In The World.
Birke Baehr is not your average 11 year old.
As a matter of fact, he has more intelligence at his age than most adults!
At a TEDx event in Ashville, Birke discusses his concerns about Monsanto and their GMO product.
“I came here today to talk to you about what is wrong with our food system,” Birke said. “First of all I would like to say that I am really amazed how easily kids are led to believe all the marketing and advertising on TV, public schools, and pretty much everywhere else you look. It seems to me like corporations are trying to get kids, like me, to get parents to buy them stuff that really isn’t good for us or the planet. Little kids especially are attracted to colorful packaging and plastic toys. I must admit, I used to be one of them.”
