When These 3D Sculptures Spin, It Will Feel Like An Acid Trip From The 60’s.
This just might be the craziest thing you’ve ever seen!
These 3-D printed sculptures were designed in such a way that the appendages match Fibonacci’s Sequence, a mathematical sequence that manifests naturally and objects like sunflowers and pinecones.
What is that mean exactly? Well, your mind will be blown.
In the video below, the sculptures are spun at just the right frequency under a strobe light. The sculptures seem to come to life.
The rotation speed is set to match with the strobe flashes so that every time the sculpture rotates 137.5°, there is one corresponding flash from the strobe light.
Fibonacci’s Sequence is so amazing that it manifests in nature in countless places, such as branch trees, the arrangement of leaves on a stem, the flowering of baby broccoli, or even the spiral of galaxies.
