4 Years Later Fukushima Radiation Is Still Causing These Plants To Mutate
We all can remember the devastating nuclear meltdown that occurred in March 2011 at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant when a tsunami devastated the area.
It ultimately sent three of the six nuclear reactors into a meltdown.
Today, the lingering radiation has made the area toxic. Elevated radiation levels can also be found in villages outside the city. While not deadly to humans, local wildlife in these towns are taking a serious hit.
Do you notice anything strange about the daisies in the photos?
The radiation levels have caused these daisies to mutate. We can only imagine what it is doing to the cells in the human body.
