Apparently, Burning These Two Chemicals Opens A Portal To Hell.
This is the coolest, and possibly the scariest of all chemical reactions out there. After this pile is lit, it begins to look like tentacles are crawling out of a portal to Hell.
But what is it really?
The orange powder is Ammonium Dichromate and when heat is introduced, it forms nitrogen gas, water and Ammonium (III) Oxide, which is the dark powder that looks like the volcano that you see.
