Lion Saves Baby Calf From Another Lion Attack.

Well, this is definitely an unlikely pair. At first we see a lion chasing down a baby calf, and we think he’s probably hunting for a meal.

But when he catches up to the little guy, he seems to protect it as his own.

And when another lion comes out to partake in what he thinks is an afternoon snack, the other lion grabs the calf and protects it from being killed.

This is amazing! I’ve never seen anything like it before. What would make this lion want to protect this baby calf?
