Nick Cannon Finally Covers Up His ‘Mariah’ Tattoo. Nick finally covered up his estranged wife’s name on his back, with a little bit of help from Jesus. The 33-year-old newly bachelor Nick, showed a sneak peek of the very large tattoo he used to cover up the name ‘Mariah’ he got inked on his back in 2008 as a wedding present.
Apparently, the only way to get rid of this tattoo was to go even bigger. It is a fullback artistic rendering of a crucified Jesus. It stretches all the way down his back with wings outstretched from one side to the other. The work is so extensive it would’ve had to take at least 10 grueling hours in the tattoo artist chair.
For Miss Mariah, she will not have to face the same type of extensive work as her ex. Although she followed suit and also got inked just after their wedding, she chose a more subtle dedication with “Mrs Cannon” vertically written in tiny letters on her lower back.
