Suge Knight Arrested For Murder In Hit And Run.
Suge Knight Reportedly got into a fight on the set of a film project in Compton, then ran over a man who later died. Knight immediately fled the scene.
It was during the shoot for a movie involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, that Knight pulled up in a car and was told by security he needed to leave. That’s when things escalated.
A fight broke out between Knight and two men. He then got back into his car, and threw it in reverse, running over a man and killing him.
Sources connected to Knight told TMZ the two men who fought Suge Knight where the instigators. TMZ’s sources say that Knight was scared because he’s in frail health. In addition he had been shot six times last summer and almost died from a blood clot.
The victim in this incident’s name is Terry Carter, who reportedly is a friend of Knight’s who arrived with him at the scene. He works at a local tow truck company in Compton, and witnesses say he’s “an OG in the neighborhood.”
TMZ’s sources say Carter was in the process of walking to the passenger door of Knight’s vehicle, but happen to be in the rear when he gunned the car in reverse.
Two other men were also hit and remain in the hospital, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
After interviewing Suge Knight, police have formally arrested him on murder charges. His bail has been set at $2 million. They believe he intended to hit the people he was fighting with.
Being that Knight was in an altercation with the men before he ran them over, it is evidence to the police that it was intentional.
Cops found Knights truck abandoned in a parking lot in the Westwood section of LA.
It looks like Suge Knight really messed up this time. I’m not sure he will be able to buy his way out of this one.
