His instructor, who was a dressed in all black, was trying to point to him to let him know to deploy his chute. But because of the dark clothing, all he could see was his instructors silhouette.
Finally, at 1200 feet, it dawned on him that something was wrong. Finally, he deployed his chute at 850 feet and it was all caught on camera.
