There are several things that women use to control the pain experience during their menstrual cycle – but now there’s something more natural you can put up there: Marijuana.
Foria Relief is a marijuana suppository you can take when you’re on your period and your cramps are trying to ruin your life.
The vaginal suppository contains 60 mg of THC and 10 mg of CBD.
According to testimonials on the site, Foria is working: “I woke up this morning in a lot of pain due to menstrual cramps and immediately use the product. I have always really struggled with the incredible pain of cramps and this has definitely been the most effective method of ridding the pain.”
Another says: “While cannabis has always helped with my painful cramps, being high is often not an option at work. Having a non-psychoactive cannabis product for relief is a game changer.”
According to BuzzFeed, though, doctors aren’t so sure this stuff is for real. OB/GYN and pain medicine physician, Jen Gunter, said the product is untested and that there is no way it can work without getting you AND your vagina high at the same time. She also said the amount of THC in the suppository is extreme.
The Va-jayjay weed is only available in California and Colorado right now, but if Bernie Sanders becomes president it will probably become available everywhere.
So, even though you might not be able to get high at work or school, now there’s a chance your vagina can – so that’s good.
