The quotes displayed are the real opinions expressed by GOP politicians over the years as they justify there views about this heinous crime.
Statements like, “relax and enjoy it” and “make the best out of a bad situation” are just some of the insensitive comments from people who obviously have no clue about what a victim experiences.
And it’s not just men. Jodie Laubenberg (R-TX) said, “In the emergency room they have rape kits, where a woman can get cleaned out.”
So Jodie says it’s just not a big deal, go get cleaned out and get over it!
Maybe, just maybe, they would change their opinion if it happened to them, their wife or their daughter. This is just DISTURBING!
