RAW VIDEO: Van Gets Swept Away By Flood Waters Outside Of Las Vegas. If you live in the desert like we do here in Las Vegas, you know a little bit of rain can cause major flash floods. You also know that a lot of rain can cause major disaster. That’s what happened on the I-15 near Moapa on Monday when the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Moapa and Overton areas. The NWS said this is the worst flooding the area has seen since 1981. On Monday afternoon Moapa received 4 inches of rain in just 2 hours. With the hard desert ground, that turned into a major threat quick!

Residents were evacuated from their homes in the Moapa River Indian Reservation. There were also threats of the dam overflowing. The Nevada Highway Patrol said there were reports of vehicles floating down the highway as I-15 was completely washed away in one area. A van was caught on camera being washed away and falling off the broken highway. Check out the video below! CLICK HERE —> TO LIKE DAILY BUZZ LIVE ON FACEBOOK!
