This video has grossed out more than 4 million people since it was uploaded to YouTube. It shows one of the worst cases of head lice in disturbingly high definition.
Head lice are tiny little bugs that love your head. The young girl in the video is being groomed by an adult with a fine tooth comb. Toward the end of the video, hundreds of lice can be seen crawling around the comb.
Anyone can get lice and it’s an allergic reaction that causes one’s scalp to it. Keep in mind that itchiness sometimes doesn’t develop for up to three months.
Head lice live for about 30 days feeding on the blood of their host. Females lay about six eggs a day. They cement the egg, called a ‘nit’, to a hair shaft usually within an inch of the host scalp. Each nit contains a single louse embryo and each female louse can lay upwards of 150 nits in one lifetime.
Is your skin crawling yet? Well, watch the video below and I guarantee you it will! Share and gross out your friends!
