A Washington woman’s strange diet is bringing a whole new meaning to “Scooby snacks.” Dorothy Hunt, the owner of an all-natural and holistic pet supply store, has committed to a 30-day, all pet food diet consisting only of the natural pet foods sold in Paw’s Natural Pet Emporium.

She’s so invested in this “diet” that she’s even picked a couple favorites: the dehydrated green beans and a particular canned cat food made with chicken. “You would be surprised how tasty dog and cat food can be when it’s made right.” We’ll take your word for it, Dorothy.

But wait, there’s more. It seems that Dorothy isn’t the only one in the store that enjoys the taste of kibble. A new employee of the emporium, Amanda Kempf, is also known to indulge in these unorthodox snacks from time to time. She even gives them to her kids, who apparently can’t get enough!

Hunt is hopeful that her month-long stint will encourage pet owners to read the ingredients on pet food bags before purchasing. “You are what you eat, and the same goes for your pets.” Let’s just hope that the emporium’s products are as safe for human consumption as she claims, or she ‘ll be eating her words along with 30 days’ worth of profits.
