Police Don’t Respond So He Busts In And Shoots His Cousin’s Kidnapper
What if your family member or loved one had been kidnapped?
Would you take matters into your own hands?
Well that’s what this one family did after they felt that the police weren’t doing enough.
Bethany Arceneaux had been kidnapped and her family had called the police. Before the police could even respond, Arceneaux’s cousin had already found where she was being held.
He ended up kicking the door in to find her 29-year-old cousin being stabbed by Scott Thomas.
The cousin ended up shooting and killing the kidnapper and rescuing his scared and wounded cousin.
Detectives on the case have said that the shooting has been ruled as a justifiable homicide by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Department.
It has also came to light that Arceneaux had already gotten a restraining order on Thomas when the two had parted ways two years ago. The gun that Arceneaux’s cousin used was legally owned and without his intervention, she may have died at the hands of Thomas.
