[VIDEO] A Drone Surveilled A Pig Farm To Discover It’s Something Much More Disturbing.

In the video below, filmmaker Mark Devries, flew his drone over a “pig farm” ran by the world’s biggest pork producer, Smithfield Farms. What he found was a disgusting secret hidden behind the fences that surround this over 2,000 acre farm in North Carolina.

As the drone comes over the trees, it comes across the lake. But that’s no lake at all. It is an open sewage lagoon filled with pig feces and urine, it is the size of four football fields.

Beyond the lake are buildings in which thousands of pigs live, often packed in so tightly they can’t even turn around for months at a time. When the pigs poop and pee, it falls through slats in the floor and gets flushed out into the “lake.”

And it gets worse. Operators of the factory farm have to clean out the cesspool when he gets too full. How do they drain this makeshift lake? They siphon the pig waste from the lake and spray it over the fields around the farm, and over neighbors homes.

And most of the time, the pigs actually drink this waste making the meat you eat a health hazard.

I’m not sure what you would do, but if I was a neighbor, I’d say a lawsuit would be in order.
